A little bit about me..

Okay, so first things first I’m a sixth form student just starting my final year of a-levels. I am currently studying 3 a-levels. I have no set direction in which I would like to go, however at the moment it looks like teaching. That said, last week it was law and the week before, journalism – so stay tuned for more.

I have a part-time job, I would like to say I enjoy it but truly I just enjoy the money. The work is neither here nor there with me, sure, setting your alarm for five thirty in the morning before you go to sleep on a friday night has it’s challenges, but my approach to life is that you get as much as you give. And I mean, I have no problems with setting my alarm so early the night before pay day.

Alright, I realise that by this point, I’m sounding slightly boring. But don’t you worry, there is enough drama in my life to make Paris Hilton look like a plain Jane. Ok ok, I might be exaggerating slightly. But if you are an alevel student reading this you’ll know what I mean, and if you are yet to experience the stress free wonders of a-levels (not) you won’t. At the heart of sixth form, of course, is the common room. For those of you who don’t know, it’s a room in which they shove about 100 or so hormonal adolescents, half of which who conform to teenage stereotypes and walk in a line baa-ing doing anything and everything they can to fit in. On the other hand, you have the half which don’t conform, and will do everything and anything they can to make a point of how oh so unique they are (wait if they are all unique, are they still unique?) completely oblivious to the fact that they are still all sat in a social circle, with their ‘rebellious’ bright green highlights, and too punk for school attitudes. I know, never met two groups of people so similar, right?

Ah, remember the days when the only thing people cared about was which colour crayons they had to play with at school? Those were the days.

Introducing my new website

Thanks for stopping by and welcome to my new blog! This is just an introductory post so I’ll keep it short and sweet.

Over the next few months I plan to be writing and sharing posts about the journey ahead of me. I have just started my final year of sixth form, so during this year I will be blogging about the transformation as I prepare to move from school to university and all of the (surely stressful) ins and outs of my journey.

That’s it for now! If you’d like to be kept updated with my posts “Like” this post or subscribe to my blog.
